Fat Tuesday is for amateurs. I went for obese Tuesday. Because I one-up you in everything you do. Well, not really. But I did have 3 paczki today and a cinnamon roll. Yeesh. So much sugar. And while I was eating them, I was all, "You shouldn't be doing this." And then I did it anyway.
It's bad, folks. I never stop to think, "What are you going to think after you eat this?" That would probably be helpful, but I'm usually so in the moment/so busy stuffing my face that I disregard forward thinking.
Anywho, I'm not doing anything drastic for Lent. I'm not super religious (once upon a time, I was Catholic...ish...it's a weird story...ish...), but I believe that Lent is an opportunity for you to improve yourself in some way or other. I know that you're supposed to give up something to show how the Lord sacrificed for you, but let's call a spade 'a spade.' I'm in no way Lord-like, so I'm not going even going to pretend my sacrifice is anything important. Pretty sure I've broken at least half the commandments (so far) and I'm not on a fast-track to Heaven... That being said, for Lent, I am going to try to give up swearing. For those of you who know me, you know it's going to be very...creative.
Yup. Swearing. Here I go.
Today's recap: gym. paczki x3. studying. all. day. long. Like so much studying that I'm going to start studying again upon finishing this post.
Tomorrow: photos. I promise. Today I didn't exactly want to document my shitty behavior. <-- That one doesn't count yet.
